Gossip Girl here. We all have dreams. Some good, some bad. Some fun and Freudian. And some will come true if you believe in them and work hard enough to make them a reality. Now, enough of that ridiculous after-school special talk….
GG’s Kristen Bell showed off her kick-ass attitude in making the Veronica Mars movie a reality and convinced Warner Bros. to put the movie into production this summer, as well distribute and advertise it, if she and creator Rob Thomas (not the Matchbox Twenty guy…) could raise $2 million for it over the next 30 days.
The Kickstarter campaign just launched today and they’re already nearing $1 million. If you want to donate, there are a few perks. For instance, for just $10, you’ll receive a PDF of the script the day the movie starts filming. For $400, she’ll follow you on Twitter for a year (and probably re-tweet anything you say about sloths). For $600, Kristen will record a personalized video (you can have her reveal the juiciest gossip for your friends and family in her GG voice). And for $8,000 your name could be mentioned in the movie.
