Rejoice, Upper East Siders! I hear that Gossip Girl’s Kristen Bell tied with knot with Dax Shepard in a no-frills ceremony at the Beverly Hills County Clerk Office. Dax had popped the question three years ago, and the two recently had a darling 7-month-old daughter Lincoln, but they always said they wouldn’t officially wed until gay couples could get married in California.
Since the Supreme Court ruled against the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) in favor of equality for same-sex marriage back in June, we’ve all been eagerly waiting for the big day. And it appears it’s finally happened. Although K.Bell and Dax haven’t confirmed the news themselves (I’m sure they’re just busy celebrating), a source confirmed to People that it was in fact true.
