“I refused to worry about something I could not change, and I still refuse. Look, I’m like any other woman. All this evolved b.s. that I’m telling you is my mantra: It’s not something I practice naturally. I had to surrender to not worrying about the way I looked, how much I weighed, because that’s just part of the journey of having a baby. I am not a woman whose self-worth comes from her dress size.”–Kristen Bell, who is a new mama to daughter Lincoln, blabs to Redbook magazine about how getting her pre-baby body back last thing on her mind.
And you thought you couldn’t love K.Bell any more than you did already. While yes, I am unapologetically fixated on fashion and appearance, I also know that nothing is more chic than an It Girl who is comfortable in her own skin, whatever size that may be. I can’t imagine how much your body goes through creating a whole other human being. I once made my own dirty martini and it was grueling. So mad props to Kristen for bucking the Hollywood trend of being back in a bikini 20 minutes after giving birth…XOXO.
